What does «A no win situation» mean?

A no win situation…

…When you consider various options but none of them are beneficial, are viable, are good for you. It’s a no win situation.

You can’t win either way.

How do we use it?

Well, when we consider various options, and we realise that we won’t be benefiting regardless of which one we choose, it’s a no win situation.

For example:

A client wants more of your time but they’re not willing to pay more when you give them more time. It’s a no win situation for you.

It doesn’t make any sense for you to follow through.
